This Privacy Policy explains how VibeCheck Astro (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the VibeCheck Astro mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Who the Service is for

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. Where required, we verify that a stated date of birth meets this minimum age.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Birth information — birth dates, and (for a Deep Cosmic Match) birth times and birth places, for the people you choose to check. This is used to generate compatibility results.
• Account information — your email address if you create an account (via email or Sign in with Apple / Google).
• Questions you submit — text you send to the Cosmic Advisor feature.
• Waitlist email — if you join our launch list on this website.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data — app version, device type, OS, a device identifier, and in-app events, used for analytics and reliability.
• Crash diagnostics — error and crash reports to help us fix problems.
• Purchase data — subscription and in-app purchase status, processed by our payments provider and the app stores.

How we use your information

• To generate vibe checks, compatibility matches, and advisor responses.
• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and fix bugs.
• To manage your account, subscriptions, and entitlements.
• To communicate with you about the Service, including launch updates if you join the waitlist.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.

How your birth data is handled

Compatibility calculations are performed on our secure servers. We do not sell your birth data. The mobile app keeps your authentication session in encrypted device storage and does not retain raw birth data in plain local storage beyond what is needed to display your current results.

Service providers

We share limited information with trusted providers who process it on our behalf, including:

• Authentication & data hosting (account and session management).
• Payments (subscription and purchase management) and the Apple App Store / Google Play.
• Analytics (product usage) and crash reporting (reliability).

These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your information.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
